Another day brought to you by Peugeot. For a change my own picture too.
The 403 was the first of a long line of Peugeots to be styled by Pininfarina. It stayed in production alongside the 404 that re[placed it for six years.
It was also famously driven by Lt Colombo in its slow selling convertible form.
Didn’t like these body choices? There were more, beginning with the Dal’Mart coupé.
The 403 was Peugeot’s first car to be made available as a diesel, a 1.8 unit pumping out all of 49 bhp.

I pass an old wagon that I think is 403 Familiale on my commute. Kind of looks like one of those ‘I’ll get to it someday’ projects.
